К ВОПРОСУ О КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТИ СОЦИАЛЬНЫХ СЕТЕЙ В УЗБЕКИСТАНЕ

В статье рассматривается становление и развитие интернета в Узбекистане и место в нем социальных сетей. Автором выбран исследовательский анализ в контексте науки массовых коммуникаций, приведены многочисленные факты, примеры, отражающие специфику деятельности и функционирования социальных сетей, проводится сравнение публикаций различных по тематике, содержанию и популярности среди пользователей.

ON THE COMPETITIVENESS OF SOCIAL NETWORKS IN USBEKISTAN

This article deals with the becoming and development of the Internet in Uzbekistan and the place of social networks in it. Author selected exploratory analysis in the context of the science of mass communication, contains numerous facts, examples, which reflect the specification of activities and the functioning of social networks, a comparison of various publications on the subject, content and popularity among users.

In Uzbekistan, as in other developed countries, the Internet has long ceased to be something new. While the wave of globalization has captured everyone, and the World Wide Web does not stop to develop, experts are working in this field, it is becoming harder to impress the people.

Despite the fact that Uzbekistan was connected to the Internet in 1996, interest in social networking increased sharply at the beginning of the new millennium, before that connect to networks such as the www.fido.net, had several opportunities to individual organizations and individuals. The leaders of interactive services among young people began to chat, and e-mail.

Today in Uzbekistan it is provided a wide access to information sources of state and government. The number of online government services through information services, web sites of ministries and departments over the past 5 years has increased more than 2.8 times and amounted to more than 320. Today, around 1,000 businesses provide services to access the Internet, about 9 million people use the Internet1.

The head of the state - Islam Karimov noticed: «Сегодня нет необходимости доказывать, что ХХ! век, по общему признанию, становится веком глобализации и стирания границ, информационно-коммуникационных технологий и Интернета, веком все более растущей конкуренции на мировом пространстве и мировом рынке. В этих условиях о себе может заявить только то государство, у которого в числе основных приоритетов всегда остается рост инвестиций и вложений в человеческий капитал, подготовка образованного и интеллектуально развитого поколения, являющегося в современном мире важнейшей ценностью и решающей силой в достижении целей демократического развития, модернизации и обновления»2.

In our opinion, the most pressing questions of the information space of Uzbekistan today are: the development of the national segment of the Internet, the completion of the media market in services and goods of national development, attracting a national audience to the resources of the national domain, creating a complete picture of the national segment of preserving the unique cultural and linguistic identity, prevent the introduction of alien ideas and cultural influences, opposition to destructive external threats.

We believe that in this matter of great importance it is the development of national social networks. Since the easiest way to communicate on the Internet is the «Social Network», we decided to analyze the Uzbek sites of this type. Domestic social networks, it is hard to compete with such well-known and popular «sharks» as «Facebook», «Odnoklassniki» and «Vkontakte». However, they live, multiply and develop. We will try to give a more comprehensive review of domestic «social networks», with all its pros and cons. This analysis will help to draw objective conclusions about the state of demand for exchange of information in social networks and the ratio of the citizens of Uzbekistan to them.

ID.UZ - one of the sites of the company «UZINFOCOM» is an online service that performs two functions. First, it is directly social network where you can find friends, chat with people. In general, enjoy all the pleasures of the social network. But there is also the second function. ID.UZ -a general authorization center for all of the company's projects «UZINFOCOM». That is, when registering on «ID», you instantly gain access to resources such as:

• ZiyoNET - Educational Portal;

• FIKR - Blogging;

• UTUBE - Video hosting;

• TANLOV - Contests, grants and events in Uzbekistan;

• DESK - Personal widgets;

• SMSG - SMS services;

• CCTLD - domain zone administration «US»;

• DC - Data Center UZINFOCOM;

• Sites satellites of ZiyoNET.

There are currently 20934 registered site users. Of these, 486 are real users. A distinctive feature of the site «ID.UZ» is that you can easily identify this person, due to the status «Real ID», attached to the account. The status is assigned to the user, if its validity and reality have confirmed other site users. In addition to the status of «Real ID», you can get the status of «Passport ID», which further allows access to government, utilities, banking and other services that require user authentication. To obtain this status simply present their passport details of administration. Ability to gain access to government and other services while in development. However, despite this, more than 40 people have received this status and the Service Startup services will be able to safely use their advantage. According to site statistics, on average, it is visited by more than 550 unique visitors and over 8,000 regular users a month1.

As in many other social networks, after filling the information about yourself, a list of possible friends is suggested. «ID.UZ» - makes it possible to partially close access to their information from strangers. His friends can be divided into three groups - friends, colleagues, and trusted contacts, IE those people that have access to the hidden information from the other. As with all social networks, you can monitor the activities of their friends, and get notified about it by choice: either by mail or in posts on the site.

On «ID.UZ» possible: the creation of different groups, with an open or restricted access and an invitation to the people, the creation and viewing of photo albums in full (mode «Preview») and one photo, the opening and closing access to their albums.

Correspondence with others there is a built messenger, and if the user is in «offline» message for it is stored for later viewing.

Among the new site features there is a book marking, i.e. ability to add bookmarks is not only user accounts site, but also to an Internet page, and the opportunity to view the bookmarks of your friends. The micro blogs allow users to write statuses and comment on the status of friends.

In addition to all the benefits of ordinary social networks ID.UZ has the ability to create cardcompany or a company in which you are working. The card can be specified address, logo, contact information and services. You can also include your company's employees and users of the website indicate the location map. This is useful not only for the users of the website, it also helps when working with other sites «UZINFOCOM».

It also has its own database, where anyone can publish their job or company to find a job in the organization.

Briefly summarizing features of the site «ID.UZ», we conclude that as a social network it is not much different from it's «the shop floor colleagues». However, unlike a simple «social», it contains a lot of useful features that if properly handled can make life easier for users to much «Uznet».

Website «vsetut.uz» another social network with game elements. At the moment, «vsetut» registered more than 46,000 people, of whom over 14,000 are unique. The site dominated by the male population, 79% and 21% respectively of the female population. Registration on the site is very simple, go through five stages and takes less than a minute, but there is no protection from automatic registration. Interface of your website is also very easy and convenient, but the site is overloaded bright spots, lots of information gathered in one place and advertising. Among the positive features there is the possibility of viewing statistics of the social network, which provides very interesting data regarding users, for example, 20% of the users of the accounting profession, and 12% of the judge1.

Website has a large range of possibilities. Placement of video, photos, and chat with each other, to find people with the same interests - in short, all the attributes of social networks are present.

It should also be noted that, among other things on the site one can monitor the activity and popularity of their friends. Popularity is defined quite simply - the more friends the users have and the higher their popularity will be, the correspondingly higher popularity with him. Almost every action on the site is evaluated and enhances the activity index, its increase leads to a variety of bonuses and privileges.
