Данное внеклассное мероприятие позволяет поговорить о дружбе, товарищеских отношениях вне рамок урока. Таким образом, обучающиеся менее формально отнесутся к таким важным понятиям, как друг, взаимопомощь, взаимовыручка.
Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, колонки, тексты.
Ведущие: учащиеся XI класса.
Ведущий 1: Hello to everybody! Thank you for joining us. Today we're going to talk and discuss such an important issue, that is Friendship! And let me start by quoting a famous American writer Mark Twain:
"One learns people through the heart, not the eyes or the intellect".
Ведущий 2: And that really rings true. A lot has been said and written about friends and friendship. Let us now do a short quiz on proverbs and sayings. Can you guess their Russian equivalents?
1. Life without a friend is like death without a witness.
2. Only your real friends tell you when your face is dirty.
3. A friend is, as it were, a second self.
4. The only unsinkable ship is friendship.
5. A single rose can be my garden... a single friend, my world.

Ведущий 2: Now let's read a short text about friendship and then have a discussion.
Friendship is a type of relationship between two people who care about each other. But such a dry definition doesn't do justice to the concept of friendship. Consider these examples: A friend is the first person you want to call when you hear good news. A friend remembers that you don't like pickles on your sandwich. A friend will accompany you on the most boring of errands and make them seem fun.
In other words, friendship is wonderful, and much has been written about how good it is to have real and true friends. However, friendship is easy. It demands time and effort, and it requires that people put someone other than themselves first sometimes. But in exchange for that work, a friend can provide an immense amount of support and comfort in good and in bad times.

'True Friend' by Miley Cyrus is a friend song about keeping each other grounded and being there no matter what. Miley Cyrus sings about being there through the ups and downs because being a good friend is more than just being there for the good times - it's about the bad times, too.
