At the beginning of the 20lh century U.S.-Japanese relations started to transform from friendship based on Washington patronizing and friendly vision of Tokyo to watchfulness due to growing colonial aspirations of Japan. Conflict between two countries increased in proportion with the growing of Japanese military strength. Hostility was also based on spreading American racism on Japanese immigration to the U.S. Japan becomes American rival in the Pacific. The U.S.A. is often referred as one of the countries with the so-called neo-liberal economics. It seems difficult but it looks as an intentionally cultivated misunderstanding. Advances in the U.S. economy and economic policy until 2007 were based on a firm adherence to the principles of J.M. Keynes. The deviation from them turned into an immediate disaster. The U.S. richest citizens continue to leave the United States. To slow this trend down the US Congress has adopted 26 USC 877(a)(1) provision. Under this law the expatriates and above all the beneficiaries of foreign trusts, may be taxed for five years after they renounced their citizenship.
