АВТОМАТИЧЕСКОЕ ВЫДЕЛЕНИЕ ФОРМ И КОМПЛЕКСОВ РЕЛЬЕФА НА ОСНОВЕ МОРФОМЕТРИЧЕСКОГО ГИС-АНАЛИЗА (НА ПРИМЕРЕ ВЕНГЕРОВСКОГО РАЙОНА НОВОСИБИРСКОЙ ОБЛАСТИ)

The author suggests an approach to automatic geomorphological zoning by relief types. The method is based on a combination of standard techniques of grid analysis (software package A^GIS 9.3) and pattern recognition methods (supervised classification) widely used for processing multispectral satellite images (software package ENVI 4.5). The initial data are morphometric characteristics obtained from SRTM by means of moving average. There are two alternative ways of morpho-complexes schemes compiling. In the first case discrete landforms are derived by morphometric parameters, and morpho-complexes are then delineated by their areas ratio in a moving window. In another case, the morphometric parameters are loaded into the software ENVI 4.5 as channels, where supervised classification is performed. The sites which are definitely diagnosed by their historical and genetic aspects serve as a model area. The resulting morpho-complex schemes show a good agreement. The proposed approach is easy to learn. It also significantly reduces the complexity and routine work duration in geomorphologic mapping.

АККУМУЛЯТИВНЫЕ ФОРМЫ И ДИФФЕРЕНЦИАЦИЯ СОСТАВА НАНОСОВ В БЕРЕГОВОЙ ЗОНЕ КАМСКОГО ВОДОХРАНИЛИЩА

Accumulative forms may be divided into two groups by their morphology, spatial-temporal stability, and the trend of development. The fi rst group is represented by relatively steady forms: beaches, coastal terraces, inset underwater terraces, mouth bars, spits. The second group is represented by the storm swells, tails, and cones forming on the shallows in early spring after the active slumping of the coastal benches or due to discharge of sediment at the mouths of ravines and gullies. The volume of the largest steady forms (bars, spits, coastal terraces) can reach 12 000 m 3. The surveyed coastal site is represented by two mineralogical zones. In northern zone a sector of coastal slope - part of the third terrace - serves as a source of sand-gravel and sandy sediments containing resistant minerals (tourmaline, staurolite, leucoxene). The southern mineralogical zone is characterized by clearly expressed prevalence of silicon and hydroxides of iron. The leading process of coastal morpholithogenesis here is longshore drift.

АНТРОПОГЕННЫЕ ПРИСРЕДИЗЕМНОМОРСКИЕ РАВНИНЫ ВОСТОЧНОГО ОБРАМЛЕНИЯ ПОДНЯТИЯ АТЛАСА

Anthropogenic evolution of semiarid and arid plains of the Eastern Atlas margin in the Holocene and today is described. In the history of Medjerda river valley three stages of man induced aridization were considered: 6.6-6.0, 4.7, and 3.0-2.7 ky b.p.; in the arid shotts region situated further south aridization took place at 13-9, 8.5-7, 6.5-5, and 4 ky b.p.-present time. It means that aridization in the northern regions had begun approximately 6 ky earlier than in the south. Arid transformation of the landscapes due to human impact appeared to be enormous. Medjerda River protracted a large delta into the Mediterranean Sea due to human activity in its valley, the Bon Peninsular and the Dgerba Island gained anthropogenic flat plain relief, landscape of valleys and lakes in the Sahel Tunisia transformed into one of the agricultural plains, sores depressions, and rare lakes. In is possible that the Early Holocene bay of the Mediterranian was detached from the sea and turned into a set of Tunisia shotts.

The peculiarities of a coastal morphology of large man-made lakes under the wave-dominated, fluvial dominated and transitional environments were discussed. It was shown that the fluvial-dominated environment is similar to the one in a river delta. In the transitional environments, the gradual replacement of delta sub-environments by shallow areas is observed. In the wave-dominated environments the relief is similar to the characteristic relief of the sea coastal zone.

Sedimentary structure in a delta-like area of the man-made lake basin, in the coastal transitional zone of wave- dominated and fluvial-dominated environments, and at the coasts with normal development of reservoirs where wind-induced waves are the key driving factor were thoroughly studied and described for the first time.

В настоящей работе обобщаются опыт и результаты применения комплексной методики определения скоростей накопления аллювия и формирования почв в поймах равнинных рек. В ее основе лежит фациальный анализ отложений пойм с серией погребенных почв рр. Средней Оки, Москвы, Верхнего Дона и Непрядвы. Впервые в нашей стране такие исследования проводились совместно географами (почвоведами, геоморфологами, палеогеографами) и археологами. Это позволило на наиболее репрезентативных многослойных памятниках археологии со сложной стратиграфией (от неолита до железного века) и в их окрестностях оценить скорости осадконакопле-ния, определяющие условия формирование почв в пойме, проследить их корреляцию с палеогеографическими событиями и деятельностью человека в голоцене, сосредоточенной в это время в речных долинах, и охарактеризовать этапы формирования поймы.

Influence of geological structure of coastal areas on morphogenetic types of river mouth systems has been proved, basing on the results of analysis of geological and geomorphic structure of deltas of a number of large rivers of the World, including rivers of the Caspian Sea basin. It has been established that geological structure controls formation of certain morphodynamic types of river mouths geomorphic systems (silt deltas and prograding deltas), while fluctuations of the sea level and river flow determine cyclicity of the river mouth systems development and intensity of delta-forming processes.

ВРЕМЕННАЯ ТРАНСФОРМАЦИЯ СЛОЖНОРАЗВЕТВЛЕННОГО РУСЛА КРУПНЕЙШЕЙ РЕКИ (НА ПРИМЕРЕ ПРИАЛДАНСКОГО УЧАСТКА Р. ЛЕНЫ)

The paper presents an analysis of the Lena River channel deformations at the adjoint braids near its confluence with the Aldan River. It is shown that the intermittent phase of temporal transformation of the adjoint braids channel into the parallel arms channel occurs between the longer stages of dominant development of left or right arms. Duration of that shorter phase depends mainly upon the average water discharge relatively to its long-term fluctuations, flow backing conditions caused by inflowing tributaries and local channel deformation conditions. In turn, channel deformations at the adjoint braids influence the development of main arms of the internal delta situated at the confluence of the Lena and Aldan Rivers, where the main control is associated with alternation of flow backing or no backing conditions related to different discharge ratios between the main river and its main tributary.
