A complete list of Ya.A. Smorodinsky's publications in science journals contains 171 references [1 — 171]1) We did not include popular science articles published in Russian journals Kvant (Quantum), Priroda (Nature), Khimiya i Zhizn (Chemistry and Life), Nauka i Zhizn (Science and Life), etc. Ya.A. Smorodinsky was an editor of more than 30 books on science and popular science translated from foreign languages. He compiled and edited four volumes of Albert Einstein's Collected Scientific Papers. It was his initiative to translate into Russian and publish famous The Feynman Lectures on Physics. Owing to his efforts and enthusiasm, Russian readers were introduced to the fascinating world of Martin Gardner whose selected articles in Scientific American were translated and published in the USSR, edited and commented by Ya.A. Smorodin-sky. These are only few examples of the popular science and editorial work by Ya.A. Smorodinsky. A
