ЧТО ИЗУЧАЕТ АНТРОПОГЕННАЯ ГЕОМОРФОЛОГИЯ?1

Anthropogenic geomorphology rose in the 60th of XX century and come now to new level (stage) of development. Recent relief, anthropogenic-geomorphological systems (AGMS), their properties, organization and characteristics of functioning constitute its subject. We suggest to distinguish AGMS by the type of naturalanthropogenic organization, development of engineering connections and adaptive properties of anthropogenic (technogenic) and natural components: organically organized, constructively organized, engineering organized (or adapted), technogenic AGMS. We propose also to term buried systems archaeological (or artifactous). In the conclusion the main regularities of constructive organization were formulated and determination of anthropogenic geomorphology was given: the discipline which investigates recent relief and anthropogenic-geomorphologic systems of different levels, their properties, organization, characteristics of functioning, and reveals the regularities of their formation in different natural conditions.

Moravian-Silesian Carpathians are the small westernmost member of the Western Carpathians in the southeastern part of the Czech Republic with interesting very young and sensitive relief. The author summarizes in his paper the main phases of relief development of the Moravian-Silesian Carpathians and evaluates impacts of neotectonic, gravitational tectonic, and climatic changes in Tertiary and Quaternary Periods. According to the authors opinion the main period of the present-day relief formation has been the Pliocene erosion megaphase.

The possibilities of ecology-geomorphologic analysis of karsts caves are considered, taking 76 the most frequented caves of Irkutsk amphitheatre as an example. The new defi nitions of cave rock relief - gallery, grotte, pit, and split are suggested. The regions with different degree of cave changes are distinguished on the base of the ecological studies of cave environment.

The process of aeolian sand carrying out from the sea beach and formation of the aeolian features in the coastal zone of Curonian Spit is considered. The dependence is revealed between the quantity of materials transported by wind upon the composition of substratum and angle of wind approach to shoreline. Several coastal sites are distinguished there with different direction and force of the wind-sandy fl ow.

Emergence and distribution of the eolian processes in the arid and semiarid zones of Eurasia depends on the location of the polar front dividing moderate (polar) and tropic air masses. It has in general latitudinal orientation between 30. and 50. N. From time to time a blocking anticyclones are formed which brake dominating west winds. In the result the main stream is divided into two branches: the northeastern and southeastern ones of approximately even intensity. The zonal process is changed to meridional ones, which lead to rise of the temperature contrasts and conduces to cyclogenesis along the anticyclone periphery. In Eurasia there are several areas of present intensive aeolean processes, which location are determined by the position of blocking Asian anticyclone and convergent zones at its periphery: 1) steppes of the East Europe, 2) steppes of the West Siberia and the Northern Kazakhstan in the moderate zone, 3) the East Asian one, 4) The Middle Asian one in the subtropical zone.

ЭРОЗИОННЫЕ КАТЕНЫ НА ЗЕМЛЯНЫХ ФОРТИФИКАЦИОННЫХ СООРУЖЕНИЯХ

Morphometric characteristics and soil conditions on the catenas, which developed on earthen fortifi cation ramparts of the Scythian time (2300 years), have been studied by complex of methods. Statistical relationships have been established between estimated mean-annual rate of erosion loss in microhabitats of the pedotopocatenas and the length and steepness of slopes. In addition, specifi c character of soil formation in microzones of catenas, evaluated through the coeffi cients of the Earths surface insolation and relative humidity, is taken into account in the calculations of the erosion intensity. The net result of the joint action of erosion and soil processes on the slopes can be adequately described with the help of recommended types of relief characteristics.

Morphometric parameters of the 3 selected slopes derived from DEMs of 3 different scales have been used for soil erosion modeling. Model estimations for each of the 3 topographic input datasets and for 5 different crop rotations showed that the discrepancy between the results produced by different morphometric data in some cases exceeded variability associated with the impact of crops. Comparison of model results with soil profi le morphology method showed general comparability of erosion patterns obtained by two approaches, but emphasized the need to have control key sites were average model values of erosion rates can be tested against an independent fi eld-based technique.

The Neo-Pleistocene tectonic activity in the north-eastern margin of the Baikal Rift Zone differed from that of the central Baikal sector. The neotectonic uplifts of the rift valleys mountain surround in the Stanovoi upland occurred in the Middle Neo-Pleistocene, which was confirmed by the results of palynological analysis and thermoluminescent dating. The regime of lacustrine sedimentation arose here more than once up to the Late Neo- Pleistocene. During the Late Neo-Pleistocene stage, the formation of the valley meso-landforms was caused mainly by climatic factors.
