Reviewed is the issue of creating a new mechanical inclinometer (IPK Ц TT detector) for the control of directional drilling parameters by drilling crew personnel. Provided are brief technical characteristics of indicator, its construction peculiarities and the results of its operation during directional well drilling in oil fields of Tatneft JSC. Typical problems in control of directional drilling parameters and possible methods of its efficiency improvement are considered.

Features of productive carbonate deposits of Tatarstan Republic oil fields are noted. Brand new integrated approach on selective water influx sealing in carbonate reservoirs on the basis of available and inexpensive chemicals has been developed. Reviewed are peculiarities of operations on selective water influx sealing in producers by utilizing inverted emulsion-suspension dispersions of "water-in-oil" type with subsequent oil production stimulation by successive acid mixture and oil solvent of specific chemical composition treatments. Presented are modifications of hydrochlorid acid treatment, enabling to increase fluid production tenfold. It is stated, that proposed technologies enable to increase oil rates by 1,5 - 10 times with simultaneous sharp reduction of water cut due to water influx restriction, as well as fluid production increase and inclusion into production of previously undrained layers.

It is shown, that small in size and in reserves volume complex oil pools in locally oil bearing formations could become an additional source of hydrocarbon resources. It is noted, that revision of geological-geophysical data on all available well stock of the oldest oil field in Volga-Urals province has enabled to increase commercial recoverable reserves by 389 million tones for a number of different formations. Presented are measures for additional exploration of these pools, so as to put them on production.
